Subaru P0420 Update

After I made my post wondering what to do about the P0420 code, a friend went along with my logic and added that maybe I should wrap my catalytic converter in some ceramic tape.

Last week, I did so. I then went to pick up my son at daycare. After my son and I got in the car and I restarted the engine, the CEL was gone. Maybe coincidence. I didn't try to warm the car up or rev it out during the warm up.

I'll still try to do my best to keep things updated.
