My Problem with Too Much Information
My problem with too much information is when I notice information being released in a story that I could have written a week prior.
Don’t get me wrong, just like the others authors I mention in these posts, I read them because I like them. Even George Will’s adversarial expertise is needed when government does its normal business of sucking.
And Kevin Hall is no different. If you want some half decent reporting in economics, he’s the man for which to look.
The report I linked to above struck me as, “I already knew this.” Why, because I saw the whole story presented in a Frontline piece called, “Breaking the Bank.”
It is definitely worth a watch. I just wish Kevin Hall would have linked to it.
