This is How it Works

As I usually say, I like Justin Wolfers, and I like what he has to say. But, he writes:

But I wouldn’t want to have to explain a vote against this to my constituents, who are mad as hell about unemployment.

I can only imagine there's a lobbyist and congressmen sitting together over lunch right now thinking, "People give a damn about what I tell them to give a damn about."
