Just Leave Me Out Of It
Another one of these, "Neither here, nor there," sentiments. I just want to get two OTHER people in the room to hash it out against each other.
I remember when, and this may still be around, people would talk about the Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S as a "real driver's car," and the Subaru STIs and Mitsubishi Evos were for, "If you want to go fast in a straight line..." Huzzah!
Now, I see cars like the upcoming Ford Focus RS being stated as, "I feel the RS will be something special and a true drivers car." Even though this will have even more electronic cooperation than any STI or Evo before it.
:: sigh ::
This is why nothing can ever get done politically. I'm serious. And I've said as much about other examples. There are clear examples of people looking at the exact same thing, and not seeing the same thing. If you can't fix that, I don't know how you talk to them without becoming profoundly pessimistic.
