"Gaw! Jeez!"

I ran in to so many issues trying to preserve old posts from my local Wordpress instance to a new Wordpress instance - that I was inspired to go back to Apple's Journal.

I'll have to make sure I use the "Journals" on the left-hand side as a means of having tags, or collections.

As for the other two reasons I used a personal-instance of Wordpress. One, I used it to put articles that I already have access to (that are behind a paywall) into my Reeder program. Where I star it, and tag it so that it won't be deleted from any RSS purge.

I could probably do that here. And just delete the article after I archive it in my Reeder program. As usual, if anyone is subscribed to my feed here, not everything I read is an endorsement. I mean, yikes, I remember reading Arnold Kling in my 20s :: shudder ::.

The last thing was having a resume. I think I'll try posting one up on my personal blogspot.
