I’ve been using Apple / Mac’s new journal app. Well, sort of new. (It has made its way to iOS somewhat recently.)

I’m using it as a staging area for posts like this one.

As I thought about making a post about this, I also realized how word-processing applications matter a lot to me.

As well, I do wonder why I find this more engaging / private than using my own server that has Wordpress installed. I want to say that I wonder why - but I think having an app that allows me to work / write while offline is probably the biggest reason.

My biggest wonder is if I’ll feel a need to update posts in my Mac journal if I make any updates here online.
