Recurring Thought

I have had this recurring thought lately. I remember when my friend Kevin would tell me, “She would eat you alive,” when I brought up someone in school that I liked.

I took it as a warning that I would fall for someone and they would just take advantage of me, and leave me after a lot f effort on my part and maybe not so much on theirs. I took him at his word and didn't seek to ask any of this people out after he told me that.

You know what’s funny? I think EVERY woman would eat me alive at this point. And that being said, doesn’t that mean something is wrong with me?
