Speech Perspective
I used to think I was pretty good at communicating. Not just in terms of getting a point across, but in terms of actually being heard + understood. Like, good pronunciation - good writing skills. But, there are moments where I don't know if the words I think I'm speaking and that I hear myself saying are actually what's getting across to the person I'm communicating with. Mandi says that when it happens with her, it's her not paying attention. Anyway, today, I've been on a wild goose chase. My mom asked me to get her medication at Walmart. So, I went to Walmart, and they said they didn't get any notification for it. I come back home, and my mom tells me to go to the clinic she went to. They said that they sent it, but upon double checking they did not get back a receipt. So, they would resend.
