I just wanted to make a quick note about how I don't hear the topic of "Sigma Males" anymore. I had been thinking about how many people (women included) enjoy  toxic masculinity. Or, are trained / indoctrinated to look for it and see it as a sign of strength.  Now, I'm not immune from this. I have no doubt that my outbursts of anger and frustration come from that same, bad place. That being said, as I go through a separation in my marriage, I wonder how to translate my personality in to the man-typecast-du-jour. And what I had settled on is that in my best and dare I say, most often moments, I probably represent "Sigma Male" energy. Then I realized, Wait, we don't talk about that anymore. Why?  My first (and probably not best) guess is that any man who would fall in to this category ... doesn't care about this category. That's the whole point of all the "Sigma Male" descriptors.
